
Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival. Despite the vital benefits of breastfeeding, 3 in 5 babies around the world are not breastfed. TPHC would like to promote a healthier community by encouraging new mo to breastfeed their children.

- Most health professionals encourage breastfeeding to safeguard and promote the health of your child
- There are also benefits for the mother, including a quicker return to prepregnancy weight, decreased risk of breast and ovarian cancers, and decreased post-birth bleeding
